When Will's parents reveal that their relationship troubles have been influenced by his bond with who they believe is Angie, Will and Angie are forced to act like a couple for an evening to prevent them from contemplating divorce. Simultaneously, Douglas takes on the role of a supportive boyfriend by assisting Poppy with her chores, which leads her to realize how much she enjoys the break. Meanwhile, the kids decide to give Tony a makeover to help lift his spirits after a recent heartbreak.
