Episode Overview
On her way home, Joan encounters a mysterious man who claims to be a psychic, assuring her, "You made the right choice." His words bolster her confidence in ending her relationship with Brock. However, her resolve wavers when she unexpectedly sees Brock having fun with his young niece, leading her to ponder the possibility of embracing children in her life without becoming a mother just yet. A subsequent appointment with her gynecologist forces her to confront the reality of her dwindling fertility. Meanwhile, a vivid dream prompts William to talk to Lynn about annulling their marriage. He goes with a doubtful Maya to confront the psychic, who cryptically suggests that “she's right in front of you,” causing William to mistakenly believe he should be with Lynn. Later, the psychic points him toward another woman waiting nearby.
