Oz (1997)

Episode Overview

Following the devastating riot that resulted in the deaths of six inmates and two guards, Oz is placed on lockdown, with prisoners from Emerald City either sent to solitary confinement or general population. A special committee is formed to investigate the incident and Governor Devlin's response. Leading the committee is Dean Alvah Case, who interviews both inmates and officers throughout Oz. In general population, a prisoner named James Robson coerces Beecher into a degrading act, met with a harsh consequence. Case uncovers that the death of inmate Scott Ross during the riot was not an accident, but he questions whether revealing the truth is the right choice.
