Guerra murders Alvarez's new follower, leaving Alvarez overwhelmed with guilt and prompting him to confess to Mukada. Meanwhile, Alvarez, Hill, and Penders enroll in a program to train seeing-eye dogs. Dr. Nathan becomes violent with a patient during a traumatic flashback of her assault. Cyril fatally stabs Li Chien, leading to Cyril being placed in solitary confinement and Ryan ending up in the cage. In a group session, Beecher confronts Schillinger, who insists he never raped him. Redding approaches Glynn to request control of the kitchen. Struggling with his mother's death and his divorce, Hill turns to drugs provided by Poet. Beecher's new podmate is the son of a well-known family, prompting Beecher to vow to protect him from the Aryans.
