On the evening of December 9, 2000, Rachel Manning attended a 1970s-themed costume party and later visited a nightclub in Chicago with her boyfriend, Barri White. However, she vanished in the early hours of December 10. Tragically, two days later, her lifeless body was discovered concealed in the underbrush at Woburn Golf Club. The investigation revealed she had been strangled, and her features were marred by a steering lock, which was found approximately 500 meters from where her body lay.
