Episode Overview

Gemma, hailing from Hertfordshire, dedicates 12 hours each week to keeping her two-bedroom home spotless, often wearing out two vacuum cleaners annually. She encounters Jim, a father of two from Kent, whose passion for car boot sales has resulted in a staggering collection of over 10 tonnes of items, including a significant amount of women's clothing due to his interest in cross-dressing. The other volunteer, Angie from Hampshire, scrubs the floors of her three-bedroom bungalow on her hands and knees twice daily. She visits Brian, a widower in Kent who runs an owl sanctuary housing 37 owls, challenging his belief that cleaning is solely a woman's responsibility—if she can first conquer her fear of birds.
