Episode Overview

Robert Gaynor (Peter Graves), a prosperous yet unscrupulous meat packer from Chicago, purchases a ranch in Medicine Bow. He quickly becomes enamored with Janet Lawrence (Jean Hale), who was previously involved with Trampas. Gaynor's aggressive tactics soon put him at odds with the local ranching community. Ultimately, it falls to Trampas to intervene, navigate the escalating tensions, and protect Gaynor from an impending assassin hired to take him out.
