Episode Overview

Steve, Randy, and their team apprehend two horse thieves, Frank Conrad (Robert Wilke) and Striker (Edward Faulkner), while eliminating a third accomplice. They discover Conrad's daughter, Billie Jo (Brenda Scott), and she is taken to Shiloh, awaiting a court decision on her custody and her father's fate. At Shiloh, Billie Jo cares for Randy Benton, who is suffering from a back injury that has left him paralyzed. Ultimately, Billie Jo faces a pivotal choice: assist her father in escaping and embrace a life of evasion or accept the supportive environment offered by the Shiloh team, which holds the promise of a brighter future.
