Episode Overview
In the town of Santa Rita, the Virginian reunites with an old love, Savannah (Gena Rowlands), who is entangled with a possessive man, Gordie Madden (Robert Colbert). When Savannah is wrongfully accused of Gordie's murder, the Virginian seeks the help of Judge Garth to defend her. They face overwhelming odds, as Madden's affluent father (Everett Sloan) wields significant influence over the town, including its Sheriff (Stephen McNally), and is determined to exact retribution.
