Episode Overview

Carl Hendricks (Victor Jory) moves to a nearby ranch with his children, Arnie (Chris Robinson) and Jenny (Katharine Ross). At a local event, Trampas feels awkward when he invites Jenny to dance, unaware of her club foot. After apologizing, they become friends, and Trampas decides to introduce her to his bashful blacksmith buddy, Wally (Larry Pennell). Tragedy strikes when Carl is found murdered, and Trampas is implicated as a suspect despite lacking any motive. The investigation falls to Deputy Emmett Ryker, who must uncover the truth behind the crime.
