The Virginian (1962)

Episode Overview

While driving cattle, the Virginian is thrown from his horse after a rattlesnake frightens it, leading to a blow to his head that leaves him temporarily blind. As he navigates through the darkness, he encounters a young woman living with her father, James Whitmore, and her brother, whom the Virginian had recently dismissed. Despite the men's objections, she is determined to assist the Virginian. The two men, however, plan to take him back to his friends under the pretense of helping, with ulterior motives to end his life. After escaping their clutches, the Virginian stumbles toward the corral, where Trampas and Jim Horn intervene just in time to save him from being trampled by the panicked horses.
