Episode Overview
Col. MacKenzie intervenes to save Tate (Lee Majors) from being lynched after witnessing him shoot in self-defense. On a train journey with the young daughter of a friend, she discovers that the girl believes she is in love with Tate, who comes from a troubled past as an outlaw. This marks the first appearance of Roy Tate, even though Lee Majors has been featured in the opening credits since the season began.
