Episode Overview
The episode opens with a protestor scaling a ship's mast to display a banner, and Sicknote is taken aback to discover it’s his protestor friends again. Meanwhile, DO Chapman visits the Station with some positive news for Nick: the Sub position will remain, but he advises Nick to consider promotion since the Station Officer role might be cut. Off-duty, George and Kelly host a barbecue to celebrate their reunion, while Nick attends a farewell party for his in-laws heading back to Cyprus. Sicknote ultimately abandons the road protest when he learns it will pass behind his house. Later, Nick’s team confronts the truth when Gregg admits to starting a fire. They are then dispatched to a massive blaze at a bus depot where three children are trapped. Amidst chaotic explosions, Gregg bravely attempts to save a girl by the emergency exit but is injured in the process. The episode concludes with Gregg in the hospital, where Tiggy confesses her love for him, accompanied by an emotional performance
