Billy’s Nan’s funeral is today, so he’s on compassionate leave, with Clingfilm stepping in for him. With Nick in Holland, Carol takes charge, and Pearce gets a promotion to Sub Officer, though it’s clear he’s not thrilled about a woman leading. In Holland, Nick reunites with Marianne, whom we met in season 9, and they share a quiet moment until her pager interrupts them, leading them to a rescue. When they arrive, Nick jumps in to save a drowning woman, but Marianne isn’t impressed by his heroics. Back at Blackwall, Sicknote bonds with Acer, a dowser searching for an ancient river. Off duty, Pearce visits Sandra Hallam, while Gregg mistakenly becomes a live model for an art class at Tiggy’s college. Later, the guys prank Sicknote with a ghost story, and the Watch responds to a call at a nearby fire station where Clingfilm’s camper van is on fire. Upon returning, Pear
