On October 4, 1992, shortly after departing from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, El Al Flight 1862 encounters a dire emergency. The flight crew attempts to navigate an emergency landing, but the Boeing 747 cargo aircraft violently veers to the right and crashes into a residential building, resulting in the tragic deaths of 43 individuals. The disaster was caused by the detachment of both engines from the right wing, leading to a catastrophic loss of control.
