Episode Overview
Title: A Family Getaway Plot: While attempting a new invention, Doc accidentally triggers another blackout in his lab, frustrating Jules and Verne as their electric toy car racing comes to a halt. Clara is equally displeased with the power outage. Believing his family has grown overly reliant on modern conveniences since relocating to the 20th Century, Doc decides to take them back to Medieval England in the DeLorean. The family is less than thrilled when Doc sends the DeLorean forward several hours, stranding them. Clara wanders off, encounters some women by the river, and meets Lord Biffingham of Tannenshire. After rejecting his advances, she is kidnapped by him. Doc attempts a rescue but finds himself captured too. Biffingham locks Clara in his tower, planning to marry her after eliminating Doc in a jousting duel!
