When Jules mocks Verne's intellect and suggests he doesn't truly belong in the family, Verne begins to believe that his real father might be Benjamin Franklin. This misguided notion causes Verne to botch Franklin's legendary experiment with electricity. Now, it falls on Doc to rectify the situation and restore order.
