Episode Overview

Joey shows Ross the ropes of living without a job. Meanwhile, Phoebe is busy volunteering with the Salvation Army for the holiday season. Monica grows weary of Rachel's fixation on Danny and suggests she should date him. Ross persuades Joey to pen a play centered around his own life. Phoebe becomes upset after realizing how unfriendly New Yorkers can be. Rachel encounters Danny's sister and feels uncomfortable with their overly flirtatious dynamic. In response, Phoebe decides it's time to revive her "Street Phoebe" persona.
