Jeff shares with the group his thoughts on 'The Giggle Loop,' describing how the more one attempts to hold back laughter during serious moments, the more intense the urge to laugh becomes. Jane is grieving her aunt's passing and asks Steve to accompany her to the funeral, posing as her boyfriend once again. Meanwhile, Susan decides to tag along, which means Patrick has to step in as her 'boyfriend.' Consequently, all six of them find themselves attending the funeral together.
