Episode Overview

In 1916, a girl and a young man from a reform school for troubled boys fall in love, seeking to escape her father, the superintendent. When he discovers their relationship, he disapproves and locks her away while punishing the boy. With assistance from a wandering drifter, the girl learns to use a book to transport them both into a primordial realm, where they transform into wolves, allowing them to live freely together. Meanwhile, a successful attorney and his wife sense a void in their marriage and soon come across younger versions of themselves, prompting them to reflect on their lives.
