Birds of a Feather (1989)

Episode Overview

Darryl spirals into a deep depression following the release of a fellow inmate, and Tracey, feeling his pain, decides to experience prison life for herself over the weekend. She enlists Sharon’s help, and they transform the spare bedroom into a makeshift cell. Meanwhile, Dorien gets locked out of her house while Marcus is away and seeks refuge with Tracey and Sharon, taking on the role of a prison guard. When Dorien returns home to discover a burglary, she inadvertently forgets to let them out. The duo resorts to climbing out a window and tossing roof tiles to get her attention. However, their antics accidentally hit a police car, leading them straight to a real jail cell. Meanwhile, Darryl’s cellmate Gary tries to lift his spirits by reminiscing about the weekends Darryl enjoyed before his incarceration.
