However, when Birkoff is tasked with leading a mission in the field, Hillinger plots to eliminate him for good. The tables turn when Birkoff reveals Hillinger's scheme, resulting in Operations placing Hillinger on hold, jeopardizing his position. Meanwhile, Operations grows increasingly ruthless towards Madeline, coinciding with George from Oversight intensifying his scrutiny. Will Madeline take the opportunity to betray Operations to George?
