As Lainey attends her high school reunion at William Penn, she opts to keep her teaching career a secret from her former classmates, concocting an elaborate fabrication with Erica Goldberg and CB's assistance. Meanwhile, Mellor is heartbroken to discover that his former star athlete, Ruben Amaro Jr., regards Glascott as a greater mentor than himself.
