As Will and Miranda prepare to leave, Miranda grapples with her feelings, ultimately resolving that she cannot go and is searching for a way to break the news to Will gently. Meanwhile, Evan is plagued by guilt over Alex's heartbreak and resolves to maturely discuss things with Rex. However, his plan backfires when Rex, too, opts to take control of the situation, complicating matters further.
