Episode Overview
Starting in the picturesque town of Creel, the Chihuahua Pacifico Express, known as El Chepe, meanders through the stunning Tarahumara Mountains, home to the elusive Raramuri people. At Divisadero, Mexico's most breathtaking station, travelers get their first look at Copper Canyon, a magnificent formation made up of six interconnected gorges, surpassing the Grand Canyon in size by four times. The journey continues to Urique Canyon, the deepest canyon in North America at 6,200 feet. Finally, the train traverses Sinaloa, Mexico's agricultural heartland, before arriving in Los Mochis, the gateway to the Pacific Ocean.
