Episode Overview

Riley's mother pays a visit to Wilstead, but their relationship is strained as her mom openly disapproves of Riley's passion for acting, insisting she should pursue a more traditional path like her own. She criticizes Riley's appearance and insists that acting is insignificant in "the grand scheme of things." Frustrated, Riley finds her voice and asserts her love for her identity and craft. Meanwhile, Jett takes Riley's mom to observe young girls playing Hawk to illustrate the value of Riley's pursuits. At Omega Headquarters, Artemis goes on vacation, appointing Silverstone as interim leader. He informs Silverstone that Riley will embark on solo missions. When Dr. Hypnotica attempts another world takeover, Riley reminds everyone that she is the one ready to take action, while Silverstone frequently checks on her until Hawk interrupts the connection.
