As Dawson, Joey, and Andie decide to host their own unconventional prom, tensions rise when the committee questions Jack's date choice. Dawson, hoping to rekindle his romance with Joey, invites her to the event to provoke jealousy in Pacey. Andie convinces Pacey to accompany her, but the night concludes with her comforting him over his romantic dilemmas. Meanwhile, Jen is furious with Henry after he announces his plans to leave Capeside for the summer. In a lighter twist, Gail and Mitch revel in their rekindled romance.
