The outcome of the Senior Polls sends shockwaves through Dawson, Joey, and Pacey, as they attempt to brush off the jibes from pollster Drue Valentine. While Pacey and Joey seek moments of intimacy, Dawson's evening with Gretchen turns out to be more uncomfortable than anticipated. Gretchen discovers that Joey deceived Dawson about her relationship with Pacey and is furious, feeling that Joey is manipulating her.
