At the same time, Joey grapples with the chaos of her romantic life as Eddie unveils the real motive behind his return to Boston. Pacey decides to accompany Joey as she supervises Harley's school dance, yet the evening lacks the enchantment she anticipated. Initially hesitant, Pacey ultimately consents to use Dawson's entire savings to support his upcoming film endeavor.
