Beka makes the tough choice to part ways with the crew, aiming to fight independently. Despite their assurances of a future reunion, Trance warns them that things will never be the same. After two years, the Magog Worldship comes face to face with the Andromeda once more. Rommie and Harper scramble to activate the Arkology for slipstream travel, while Rhade trains the residents to defend themselves. Meanwhile, Dylan and Trance battle the invading Magog. As the Andromeda becomes swarmed by enemy ships, Trance ominously reveals to Dylan that he might be the only one to survive this ordeal.
