Following the death of Tom McMahon, the third casualty amidst a series of mysterious fires, Alan comes to the grim conclusion that he’s pursuing a serial killer. His superiors caution him to steer clear of the Aspern family, who are preparing to file an official complaint against him. Meanwhile, Banks is resolute in his mission to uncover the mastermind behind an art forgery scheme that connects two of the victims. Despite Banks’ concerns, Annie persists in her relationship with Mark Keane. When Banks finally uncovers the true identity of ‘Morrison’, he realizes that Annie may be in grave danger.
