Davy becomes infatuated when he spots a 'mermaid' at a traveling show, filling his mind with dreams and imagination. Meanwhile, Rachel is on the mend after her stroke, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. As the traveling show attempts to cheat the town out of its earnings, Davy uncovers their scheme and takes action to put an end to their dishonest practices.
