Episode Overview

The Shady Rest is bustling with guests, while the Pixley Hotel sits nearly vacant. Murdock Sneep, the shady owner of the Pixley Hotel, proposes a merger with Kate, but she refuses, aware of the Pixley's lack of clientele. Enraged, Sneep vows to sabotage her business. He launches a fierce advertising blitz, leading to a competitive showdown between him and Kate. However, both soon discover that their ruthless rivalry is draining their finances, allowing a third party to take advantage of their escalating conflict.
