Episode Overview

Billie Jo and Uncle Joe return from Omaha, where Billie Jo showcased her singing talent. While in the city, Uncle Joe submitted an application for the Shady Rest to be included in the prestigious Master Plan hotel directory. He suspects that a guest named Gaylord Martindale is secretly evaluating their establishment for this purpose. Determined to impress him, Uncle Joe goes above and beyond, despite Gaylord being their most difficult guest yet. Unfortunately, this comes at the expense of their other visitor, the ever-pleasant Mrs. Pruit. Ultimately, Mrs. Pruit reveals an unexpected twist for everyone.
