Episode Overview

Uncle Joe reveals his plans to retire, only to discover that the entire valley views him as a joke, claiming he hardly does anything at all. Feeling undervalued, he contemplates leaving town. When Janet learns of his intention to go, she mobilizes the community to show Joe how much he truly means to them. However, Joe quickly realizes their intentions and concocts a scheme to retaliate. Ultimately, they throw him a retirement celebration, which helps him recognize his significance in the valley, leading him to declare that he will not step down after all.
