Episode Overview

Steve prepares to submit a proposal for a valuable government contract, while Bobbie Jo encourages Uncle Joe to take up jogging for fitness. Upon learning about Steve's bid, Uncle Joe questions why he wasn't consulted for advice. When Steve doesn't receive an update on the contract, Joe takes the opportunity to tease him about not seeking his input. This leads to a heated argument, resulting in Steve ending their partnership. Later, Steve learns he won the contract and hopes to reconcile, but Joe remains distant. Meanwhile, a government official, William R. Blake—an old rival—alerts Steve to a critical mistake in his proposal that could have major financial repercussions.
