Episode Overview

Steve is struggling with the feeling of being overshadowed by the impending arrival of his child, sensing that his importance has diminished. Betty Jo's attention is consumed by baby-related matters, leaving Steve feeling neglected. Compounding his frustration, the community also directs all baby-related inquiries to Betty Jo, further isolating him. To address Steve's feelings of inadequacy, Uncle Joe hatches a scheme for them to "vanish" temporarily, hoping to provoke concern from Betty Jo and the family. However, the execution of their plan doesn't unfold as they had anticipated.
