The entire Douglas family bands together to support Steve's budding romance with Barbara Harper. Following dinner, Steve and Barbara head to her home, where Steve's nerves get the best of him in her presence. Although both are genuinely invested in their relationship, they remain oblivious to the depth of their feelings for each other.
