Steve is plagued by nightmares that give him a glimpse into a future where their family includes a computer named Betsy. This unexpected addition complicates wedding plans as Betsy pairs Mike and Sally with completely different partners. Determined to show the computer's predictions are flawed, Mike enlists Steve to fill out a questionnaire for both his dad and mom. The idea is to submit these forms, hoping Betsy will choose different matches and prove Sally wrong about the computer's accuracy. However, the results shock everyone when Betsy pairs Steve with Mike's mom instead.
