Uncle Charley's adventurous love stories enchant Ernie's teacher, a charming middle-aged woman who is intrigued by his partly embellished accounts of life on the ocean. However, Charley is taken aback when he discovers she has quit her teaching position. His surprise deepens when she reveals that her savings will fund a one-way trip to Pango-Pango and asks him to marry her before they embark on this new journey together.
