Episode Overview
An additional operative dispatched by the Eagle reaches the pueblo, this time bringing in jewelry to fund the conspiracy. Carlos Murietta, an Argentine with a disdainful attitude toward the locals, especially Sergeant Garcia, makes a trip to a tannery owned by Jose Mordante. The pair engage in a conversation about the fate of the gemstones, including a renowned artifact called "The Cross of the Andes," which had been pilfered from churches in Argentina.
