Title: The Captain's Dilemma Plot: Captain Arrellanos decides to withdraw his support for the Rebatos in their conspiracy to eliminate the governor. Instead, he hatches a scheme to position himself as the leader of the government. He approaches the governor's daughter, urging her to announce her father's incapacity to govern due to illness. Outraged by his proposition, Leonar outright rejects his plan. In a fit of anger, she informs her father about the captain's treachery.
