Zorro (1957)

Episode Overview

Captain Briones intensifies his efforts against Joaquin by commanding that a peon be whipped until he discloses the rebel's location. Zorro intervenes, using his own whip to halt Briones and liberate the peon. Soon after, the legitimate governor arrives, and Rico justifies his oppressive tactics as necessary for improving the capital. He persuades the governor to extend an olive branch to Joaquin, allowing the outlaw to present his side, all while secretly plotting to eliminate Joaquin the moment he surrenders.
