Gilles Tetreault thought he was meeting a potential romantic partner from an online dating site, but he soon found himself in a terrifying situation. He claims he encountered a deranged individual who had plotted to take his life. Tetreault was assaulted but managed to narrowly escape. In a similar case, Johnny Altinger responded to an online ad and vanished without a word. Was this a genuine crime, or could it have been a complex ruse for a murder-themed screenplay?
