On Halloween, a demon invasion in New York City demands the Institute’s immediate attention. As the Shadowhunters work to eliminate the demons, Jace grows increasingly anxious about Clary’s safety. At the same time, Alec struggles to balance the crisis while grappling with his deep worries about Magnus, who is sinking deeper into depression.
