Episode Overview

The officers respond to a disturbance at a nightclub, where they find singer Kathy in a drug-induced state. As she's taken to the hospital, she confides in Reed that someone is trying to kill her and force drugs on her. The narcotic detectives choose to send Reed undercover, posing as an AWOL soldier with a significant amount of heroin to peddle. While Reed attempts to negotiate a deal, Kathy inadvertently exposes his identity. Fortunately, Malloy intervenes just in time to rescue his partner and assist in taking down the drug dealers.
