Malloy sets out to clear Sgt. MacDonald’s name after he accidentally strikes and kills a jaywalker while driving his police cruiser. Despite the witnesses on the sidewalk insisting she was in the crosswalk, the burglary suspect MacDonald is transporting shows no interest in supporting him. As Malloy delves deeper into the case, he discovers that the reality of the situation is much more complex than they first thought.
