Episode Overview

On May 13, 2020, in Reno, Nevada, the Reno Police Department receives calls from multiple guests at the La Quinta Inn who report gunfire echoing through the night. Upon their arrival, officers find a 42-year-old woman who has been shot twenty-three times and is declared dead at the scene. A crucial lead comes from one of her young sons, who tells the police, “The bad guy did it.” This revelation sparks a widespread manhunt across several states as investigators work tirelessly to track down the suspect and seek justice for the grieving family.
