Episode Overview

In the early morning of September 6th, 2020, 32-year-old Brian Redding places a frantic 911 call, sobbing and shouting that he has discovered the lifeless body of his 16-year-old girlfriend, Cypress Noonan, in their room at the Forest Motel in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Cypress has been shot once in the head, and her seated position on the bed indicates she was taken by surprise. As investigators gather at the scene, Brian's reactions begin to arouse suspicion. Eventually, the police uncover troubling aspects of Brian and Cypress's relationship.
