Episode Overview

After Malcolm and his brothers accidentally ruin the Christmas tree ornaments, Lois decides to take drastic measures by canceling Christmas and relocating all the presents to the garage. She tells the boys that the only way to get the holiday back is to behave perfectly until Christmas morning. To her surprise, they rise to the occasion, leaving her genuinely moved by their efforts. However, the boys plot to get back at her, thinking she might use this method for future holidays, and sneak into the garage to unwrap all the gifts. Meanwhile, Francis finds himself spending Christmas with Grandma Ida.
